Cape Cheerios

This was a cut out rocket base on the back of Cheerios cereal boxes. It was about 1958 or so when these came out. I think I vaguely remember putting together the barracks when I was about 3 or so.

Until recently this entire set was considered lost. Recently, though, a set was offered up on an auction site and I was able to get several decent downloads of the pictures. The end result is what you see here. The smaller lettering is hard to read, but the entire set is functional for a collector. Roughly 6mm scale, they are excellent little buildings and well thought out.

Download the Jpgs below and print them out as large as possible. Cardstock is best. Cut out with scissors and use elmers glue. They look nice when put together.

On the tracker; leave the white areas between the dome pieces to fold under and glue. They make the dome look lots better. Some of these are tricky to get right, but they all look good. Enjoy.

Find a platform laucher, probably from a Cape Canaveral Recast set (on e-bay, but be careful), and you have it all.
